I have to clean some pics up...........apparently when you stick your torso out of a 928 sunroof to shoot pics at 100mph you become prone to shrapnel on your lens!

Wow! Looks like I picked the wrong year to miss. His garage and balcony views are awesome! A repeat performance in 2008 perhaps??

Got to ask about the shark with the side pipes. Who's is it, and what's the story? Custom made? Extremely loud I would think. Looks really mean! (Can't imagine driving into a TX inspection station with that setup)

Don, see this: https://rennlist.com/forums/928-forum/390348-pipes.html

Looks like a good time was had by all. Wish I could have made it down there. Maybe next year...

To the Donalds, yeah everyone's a comedian!!!!

Great time!! And yes, the SilverBulit did even see track time on Friday!

Scott, Craziest thing, the intermittant running problem came back!
Roger Tyson had replaced my WUR with one that was on one of his other OBs while my car was there. Cured the problem. I've been driving it trouble free for the last few weeks and on the last lap of the last session on Friday, I noticed the car was down a little on power. The next day about 1/2 and hour into the fun run, the fun stopped. Problem came back. So, now I've got something eating my WURs??!!! Will assess with Roger over the next few weeks.

Overall, a great time though. Great peeps and way too many Beers!!!!!

Hey Chuck:
Sorry I missed the gig and the return of the SB, hope you get it sorted out soon. As I recall, we met at the Second 3rd Coast in Blanco, when Curtis picked you up after your ride left you at a gas station- but I won't tell tales!
Was that Mike Sawran in one of the photogs (3rd Coast 1.5 below)?

Cheers,

Had a great time. Wish I lived closer but 3 hours shouldn't get in the way once I get the OB sorted. Thank you again for putting this on. Oh yea I'll put the oil filter to good use(Thanks Roger). Now if I could just remember everyones names and who owned which car. Roger my wife already stole one of the 928's RUS shirts good thing I got two. Russ thanks for bringing the parts down for me. I'll be busy tomorrow. Jason

I loved the look of the side pipes and the large tires. The purists might not like them but they never accepted the 928 anyways. Sounded awesome Jason
