Probably wouldn't go for it on my own ride, but I like looking at it. It's easy to have side pipes look like total add on's hanging off the car, but your's are well done.
I don't know what to say, I too have side pipes on my '82 . Wish I took the time to practice posting pics , maybe I can ask Ernest to post from an email I'll send him. Thanks E!
it's just a reflection in the paint. I did some serious waxing on the car last week in prep for Concours.
the pipes do have mufflers in them now. they didn't when I first put them on----holy cow it was loud. better with the muffs in them.
Sound now is on par with an early Cobra or Viper.
I know how most feel, it's a love/hate kind of thing. Sort of like 928's. We owners like them, but the Porsche purists don't think it's a Porsche because the engine's in the front.
