Default pipes

at the request of a fellow Rennlist-er:

pictures my Euro

he specifically wanted to see the sidepipes, although it was cloudy here when I took the pics....(feel free to give crap about the pipes if you're a purist, or...if you like them, feel free to give complements)

Open headers or are the pipes chambered?

Probably wouldn't go for it on my own ride, but I like looking at it. It's easy to have side pipes look like total add on's hanging off the car, but your's are well done.

Is that the reflection or the paint looking funny right above the sidepipes in the first picture.

Going to be a tad loud if that's the merge collector going into unmuffled pipe.

Anyway to get car off the ground to get a picture of the header???

Pretty cool.

it's just a reflection in the paint. I did some serious waxing on the car last week in prep for Concours.

the pipes do have mufflers in them now. they didn't when I first put them on----holy cow it was loud. better with the muffs in them.

Sound now is on par with an early Cobra or Viper.

I know how most feel, it's a love/hate kind of thing. Sort of like 928's. We owners like them, but the Porsche purists don't think it's a Porsche because the engine's in the front.

thanks for the complements....and not. I figured I would get some of both and that's OK.

yeah love it/hate it... best of both worlds! I think it does work good on your car.. black/chrome and goes with the wheels..
