Where is it and how did you find it?

The insatiably curious want to know.

You went to see the car in person and you didn't drive it back? :-). how far is it? I have mine transported through Intercity and everything went smooth (drained battery but it seems to happen a lot with IC).
Nice car btw.

If I told ya, I'd hafta....

I'll just say this. You don't find the good cars on ebay. It takes time and patience, not to mention a good rapport with the owner. Arrgh, it's been 24 hours and I'm already jones'n....

It's not here yet. But yes, it's a 3-owner SoCal car for its entire life. Now it will be seeing a different area of the country, can't wait to tackle the dragon!

Wow, looks like new! Love the color and the smooth lines without the side mouldings. Quite a find, congrats to you.

Edit: Appears to be color code 662, translated as metallic quartz gray in my WSM

Thanks Erling, what are those wheels you have? They look like supercups? I really like them and was thinking about getting a set.

I didn't think to get the color code, but it's definitely written as rauchquarzmetallic on the doorjamb. Is that the code for it? It's got a good bit of gold in it, and the sun just makes it.
