I have been in email conversation with Stan regarding the 84. He seems like stand up guy and very experienced. What would people value the car at? I may trade my 944 + cash for it, depends on other factors.
Thanks

if I was in the market for another one with the older body style, I would be very interested in this car. Stan knows 928's, and I would expect to get a car exactly as described, which if it is, then the price is pretty good for it IMHO...

Stan is a very honest and straightforward guy with a lot of 928 experience. I think the car is very fairly priced and buying from a knowledgeable owner is a BIG plus with these cars.

Your right Stan is a great guy. I've gotten parts from him in the past with that said I think the price is a bit high. I would think it should be in the 4K range. From what I've seen 84's aren't really in demand say like the 86.5's. Just my 2 cents. I really probably don't know what I'm talking about.

I'd buy it from you if you would figure out how to get it down here for a reasonable $$$ amt... That young man from church would do well with this car I would think!

That's the same problem for me once I add the shipping cost too it it soon becomes a non value. I already did that and ate the big one on my 81.

Thanks for the thoughts. I still have someone interested in trading a 944 for it, so that may be an option.
I had checked for someone, and it was $732 shipped to TN (if I recall correctly). With gas prices, even driving it a substantial distance and flying home could approach that number. Of course it isn't registered, so that creates a cost issue on its own too.
I don't need to sell it, but I also don't have any use for it and as well know letting a 928 sit is not good...

Just a suggestion Stan, but replacing the fog surrounds, floormats, a serious detail job and some really good pictures posted directly in the ebay ad will go a long ways towards getting the true value. It's a nice car and deserves a good home where it will be driven.

Perhaps incorrectly I always presume people realize cleaning something up is trivial.
Thank you for the thoughts.
