They offer here on 8x brand-new h-shaft piston rods (running piston rods) fur to Porsche 928 S4, ect. Piston rod is enough for 150mm. They are from 4340 EN24er steelsteel steel (like Carrillo, Arrows, Pauter) They are CNC bearbeited and the drillings hone on exact same tolerances. They are balanced up to 1gr.und have total weight of 610g with ARP 2000 screws. The dimensions are alike to series as with a piston rod. The piston rods are well fur 1200PS and 9000U/Min. To the piston rod originals or Tuning piston (FOR EACH Pistons, meal, Wiesco, ect..) konnen to be fastened. It does not act over top qualitat CHINA copies as with other offerers!! The piston rods in Australia shape of top qualitat steelsteel steel!! Liferzeit kan until 4 weeks last solten we it at the camp do not have. No extra stower/tariff the piston rods as gift are verschikt!

A quick translation.

They look like Argo rods to me, I thought they were made in Sydney, in fact I believe the same machinist makes them that made my control arms. The bolts are better than what I was quoted some time back, they were 8740 I believe.

I think they are side product of 951 rods. Since only one measurement is different its easy to come up with 928 part. Good thing about them is that they are new part, easier and quicker to find than set of good condition '87 S4 rods which is probably strongest 928 variant.

IIRR stock rods weigh over 100g more. They are cheap as I paid little more for Chevy SB 5.85" and upper end mod for stroker crank. This sounds almost too good to be true deal for boosted engine. Those rods together with modified S4 piston tops should result good bottom end for boost.

The rods sound very good, does anybody have experience with the people who are selling them on ebay?

They write that you will not have to pay Customs because they will
mark the parcel "Present". Always gives me a bad feeling when people
write something dishonest in their advert; makes me wonder about the
safety of the whole transaction. Although they do have over 99% positive
from nearly 300 ebay transactions which is very good.

Also strange that somebody based in Melbourne writes their advert in
German language; I hope their after sales support arm does not insist on
Hungarian, or Serbo Croat or any other language that I have no knowledge
of.
I see some of their other adverts were in English
