Aaron,

That is a pinstripe. The interior is beige/tan. The seats are a combination leather and cloth (sort of velour like). That material runs up the middle (of each seat).

Patrick, do you have a picture of the seats? Mine has a champagne(sp?)/brown interior combo, although I would call it tan/brown then I saw Brendan Champions tan S4 seats for sale and they are a different color than mine. Mine has all leather seats though and really the foam seems a little worn in my drivers side seat so I need to find a new seat solution one day.

Aaron-
From the picture of your new house it appears you left plenty of room for a garage behind it.

Which end of Houston are you in?

Donald
P.S. what year Mustang do you have? I have a '69- exempt from sniffer testing

It has a three car garage in the front and the third is two cars deep with room for a work bench on the side and a rear facing door if I wanted to put something back there. Here is a link to the slab of the house/garage.

The Mustang is a 1992 LX Hatchback and setup for street/strip(dragstrip). However with the sniffer tests down here, it will never pass and is going to become a trailer queen if I decide to keep it. Here is a link to the current specs, I am in the process of changing from my 331 street motor to my 347 race motor. 1969 is a good year, I would actually like to one day pick one up, barely missed getting one for free a couple years ago.

I am in the NW section of Houston, that house being built is actually right across the street from Lake Houston.

Aaron, I will try to remember to snap a shot of the seats the next time the car, camera and I get together.

Cool

Here's the inside. I thought my car was "champagne", so I ordered champagne replacement carpets. This arrived, but instead of sending it back, I used it anyway. I had the inside retanned in a matching color, and added black seats and floor mats to hide dirt. If I had to do it over, I'd have done it in all black.

Normy, what exactly did you do? Did you purchase new seats, (cost and from where?) or did you have them dyed. The dash must be the original color correct?

Anway, looks nice!

Jerry-

Basically, when I bought the car, the interior was in average condition. The seats were recovered in vinyl- which were incredibly sweaty! I purchased a new German carpet set from 928 Intl for $800, and a set of OEM black leather front seat upholstery [$1000] from...Hmm- I think it was 928 Intl as well, but I may be wrong. I then personally [over a 3 month period] removed each piece of carpet [huge job!!!] and replaced it, sitting in my house in front of the stereo with a tube of rubber cement and some 3M spray adhesive. After that was done, I dropped the car off at a place here in Orlando [Kelly interiors] and had the front seats reupholstered with the black leather, the rear seats re-tanned black leather, and the whole interior re-tanned in a color that matches the champagne carpet. Cost- about $1300. Took me about a year. The guy did a nice job, but not perfect. He stripped the PAINT off the old leather [tanning is indeed a painting process] and repainted it by hand. This type of upholstery renovation is available in most towns, but you have to do the research. Go to car shows and ask the guys there who does their interiors. That's how I found this guy.

Steve, my light-hearted jab was aimed at EuroSpec944. You have plenty of credibility here already.

John V - nice wheels. What type are they?

Aaron, that's a cute little blue house <img src="graemlins/roflmao.gif" border="0" alt="[hiha]" /> !

Aaron-
That's quite an impressive pony, I see why you doubt it will pass, but maybe it will slide through the sniffer? I didn't see the fuel management system listed there. As for visual, know any friendly Mustang/NHRA shop owners?
I used to live in West Houston, but am now up in College Station.

Normy-
that is a very nice interior, and I think the contrast is sharp.
