John,
I just saw your post about the hood. I may have a line on one here, but if that dosen't work out I will be calling. If you could spare a door tweeter speaker grille I will definately take that.

hey guys I just noticed something and got one of them fabricating ideas again If you look at the S4 manifold, there may be a way to make a horizontal cut on it half way and there just might be a way to fabricate and supercharger/manifold combo for a 928 S4! This would be something I'd love to do! My uncle knows this guy that does his own fabricating! Perhaps he can custom make a manifold for the S4 that would support the supercharger using half of the S4 one....just a thought....
But...I need a schematic picture of the Eaton Model 90 blower that way I can see where the intake is on it. There is definitely an extensive amount of modifications for my idea involved. Of course I've never gone pro with my thoughts.

Here is the M90 drawing. The S4 intake is magnesium and a used one will run you $750. The intake rests on thick rubber gaskets and it is NOT bolted to the engine in a very solid manner. There is a rubber gromet between it and the nuts that hold it down.

Not too change the subject but wasn't There was 924 that came with a Turbo. Rare bird I know.
924GT or 924Turbo ?????
Any way, would that kind of turbo work on the 928?.
Just curious?.

Jim,
I would go with the M112 as it has more potential for power than the M90. My above bit about the intake was to communicate to EuroSpec that modifying the S4 intake is probablly not possible. It seems the very best route to go would be to use the MP112 on top of a completely fabricated intake. Still there would be hood issues. There was recently a roots blower sold on E-bay that was atop a custom 32 valve 928 intake. I think Steve Catteno (SP) won it. It looked pretty low but seller stated that it would not clear the hood.
Drewster,
I remember researching some turbo 924 a few months ago that is worth about $40k now.
In the U Pull it yard I saw no less that 5 turbo cars, Several Dodges, Ford Probe, T-Bird Turbo coupe. Someone mentioned the use of a large ford truck turbo also.
A rebuilt M90 can be had for 450 to 500 dollars. They sell on Ebay every week for around $200 and a rebuild is 300 from Magnum Powers. This is why I chose the M90. Eaton States that it is good for engines up to 5 liters. Their sole distributor claims 5.7 liters.
Well, I am off to the garage. Wish me luck.

924 Turbo, or 931 - about 13,600 produced
924 Carrera GT, or 937 - just 406
Other iterations of turbocharged 924's include the Le Mans racers (4), Carrera GTS (as pictured above, I think - 59), and Carrera GTR (17).

Here are links to a few pics.
Sorry about the blurry one.
The tubing will go below hood level when it is complete. The outlet plenum can me made an inch or so shorter too.

Andy,
I applaud you for the intestinal fortitude! I have a couple of links you probably already know about, but just in case:
AIR sells glass hoods that may be more suited to modification. A.I.R.
928 Developments has been doing some interesting things with carbon fiber intakes: 928 Developments I don't know if a partnership could be made, but this could be an answer to the intake dilemma.
For those who have not seen this thing:
Check it out!

That engine is wicked - It looks like it belongs in a F14 or Warthog (BTW, the best military attack plan ever built, in my book)

GoRideSno,
I could be wrong and I hope I am but... are your motor mounts okay? I just replaced mine and my engine seems to sit higher than yours does. I can't really tell from your picture with the cross bar missing. I'm only asking this because if your mounts are flat the SC will sit higher than you may be planning for. I hope this is not the case but if it is better to catch it now. With healthy mounts you should be able to get your fingers between the oil pan and cross member. I had no room what-so-ever before replacing mine.
