300 ft pounds is nothing... it's all about leverage. BTW, I believe it was a Ho-Ho.

HEY, it worked.. we dragged Gretch back into the asylum!!!

Welcome back!

BTW, here is a perfect Christmas gift idea for you. Take a select few jars of your shine, fill them with fresh cherrys and let them "rest" until time to give out at Christmas. Around here we call them Wild Cherrys :-)

Jeannie's mom LOVES them!!

^^^^^^
Who's Jeanine? Who'd you do with Jeannie?
Thor's not gonna like that. Bet Thor with his low C of G would do great in the Redneck Log Roll.

Can someone add Braun shaver (Used to be German. I've got one) to the Enzo Chart.

Hmmmm! A RR Merlin on a dyno. Bet that sucka's LOUD.

Who's car is that and where is it located? I have pictures of that car earlier in the build process.

That intercooler arrangement would work for Hacker's Air/Air idea for his SC. Since the discharge points at the passenger side.

I particularly like the water inlets to the turbines in that first picture.

Car is in the midwest. I was asked not to discuss it until its finished. This car has a ton of extra work. Flared rear fenders, rolled fronts, GTS mirrors, louvered sides in the front fenders & hood, fixed headlights. I believe at this point the nitrous is only for "frosting" the intercoolers, as power will not be a problem

The first chart is a comparison of the '87 S4 automatic transmission Murf centrifugal supercharged car to a '91 GT 5-speed with a twin-screw supercharger. Both cars are intercooled, both have an "X" pipe with stock exhaust pipes behind that, both are internally stock engines, and both are SharkTuned. The runs were done on the same dyno, on the same day, one car right after the other. The dyno used was a Superflow, and the runs are the best ones of each car. The red lines are the centrifugal car, and the blue lines are the twin-screw car. The twin-screw makes more boost down low when the maximum boost for both cars is within .5psi of each other, but the stock Porsche intake with the flappy on the centrifugal car is pretty good at it's intended purpose though.

The second comparison chart is of the same two cars. It's the same GT twin-screw run compared to a run from the same S4 centrifugal car done on the same dyno about six weeks later. The only change made to the centrifugal car from the earlier run was increasing the boost to what I think the current Murf stage 3 kit is now. The red lines are the centrifugal car, and the blue lines are the twin-screw car again.

Perfect....this was just what I was looking for....of course a 91GT to auto S4 is not perfectly fair, since it benefits the GT with the manual and hotter cams...but the S4 performs quite well....plenty of low end torque....

Heres a ??? Why does the torque curve on the twinscrew roll up so much at the bottom vs the centrifugal that never goes under about 375ftlbs?

Why? Because a larger compressor/area. The down side is a twin screw steals more HP to make boost than centrifugals. And same goes for turbos which take farless HP to make boost but don't have the off idle response twin screws have.
