(ok, I'm just jealous of a guy who still has shiny washers on the rear suspension)

Trust me James - Chuck is that way on the whole car. Everything that could be considered a flaw on this car can be traced to a separate owner - never Chuck. Anyway - suffice to say - when you install a sterior system - please do it right - for Future owner's sakes.

Chuck:
So the GT is in San Diego too? Funny. Its black right? Do you know where, exactly? This is not a big town - I see quite a few around, and I know thier areas. I am slowly redoing the interior to my own liking, and if you would like, I could send you pic when its finished....

Anyway - the RMB is the single more important and enjoyable change that anyone can make to a 928 or ANY year.

Hi Brendan,

You are correct, there are very few flaws on the GTS and those that are there were from the PO. Of course mileage is pretty low which helped too.

The GT is red with black interior. I should probably keep the owners name and where he lives off this public forum without his permission. He does race an orange Bobsy Porsche so if you see one at the track, he's the guy.

I would love to see a pic of your car when you get the interior done.

Brendan, fwiw,

Funny you should mention this...I wish you had passed it along to my PO...the first thing I had to do when I bought the car was to remove the PO's stereo installation, including (1) defective cd changer, roughly the size of a barn, (1) toasted head unit, (1) carpeted home-built subwoofer, in Crayola "Burnt Sienna" color, (4) strings of resistors forming a rudimentary crossover network, and (1) 100' of cabling - I'm not kidding. The miserable SOB had also taken a Dremel to the piece that surrounds the stereo and the gearshift, so add (1) $150.00 replacement piece.

I used to be an concert engineer in a previous life, so it's all better now...and grounded correctly. And not installed by Circuit City.
