Need A Fuel Tank In Socal!
Hey Fellas,
My 85 just started weeping gas right out the side.
The material is pretty cracked up from age.
Anyone have a decent price on a used tank in Socal?
I live in Ventura to be exact but will do some driving to pick one up if it
is not too far.
email me at b2nomad/at/sbcglobal.net
Cheers
Bernie

A little rich for my tastes on this particular part.
There has to be gobs of 928's sitting around out there with good fuel tanks.
I do all my parts business through Mark but I need a deal on this one.
Isn't the tank fiberglass?
I may be able to patch it for now till I track one down.
Cheers

Yo, Bernie - how's it hangin'!
Try searching here for gas tank repair. I think a couple guys have done it successfully. The tank is a poly plastic, so it's not an easy fix with just simple epoxy.

Hey Randy,
Thanx for the heads up !
Sorry about the infraction.
Since I am selling my truck and going to be driving the 928 exclusively for awhile, I guess I better get my dues back up to snuff.
Went for a drive today and it started pissing gas and coolant from somewhere. Yeesh, they are so inexpensive when you let them sit in the garage but nowhere near as much fun.
Cheers
