PacNW 928's take 1st and 2nd in SCCA Regional Championship
Same old story..
Ken Osage took 1st and I took 2nd and we didn't even include our out of region results.

Have to love these cars..
Kibort has two more races - so it's time to throw in the support!!!!

Nice job.
I noticed charles Jessup was at a few of your races. he and scot are tough competitors. How did you do against him in that beefy camaro?
All signed up for the Laguna events. only a couple of more weeks!
The championship race is tight right now. i think its anyones game for the top 4 spots. if we finish like we did at Sears point, its a 2 point game with 4 cars

Charles Jessup is a tough competitor - but unlike the 928's the camaro has problems finishing races..
Don't expect much from us at Laguna - although, the Kiln Red car should be in it's best race condition ever..
Hey - we need a sweep of the SCCA west coast ITE championship - no pressure..
My car is in pieces at the moment.... waiting for one last part and then it's time to put it back together...
Ken Osage is running into some engine issues - blowing oil over 5000rpms - he did a leak down test two nights ago and the results were not good... So it's decision time... He has a 5.0L 32V engine almost ready to go and a SC scheduled to arrive Friday...

GET that thing back together!!!
Cant wait to see all the 928s at the track next month!
should be a great time
Hey, i feel the pressure. in order to win, the holbert car (and its driver) cant miss a beat! "feet dont fail me now!"
What is the "Kiln Red" car. Thats your car, right? what does it look like now? is the avitar the most recent pic, or are you all raced out now?
Im surprised we didnt see much of charles this year. he was actually getting pretty quick at laguna and sears the last time out (last season or two seasons ago)
So, what is Ken going to do? ready by late oct either way?? blower??
oil over 5krpm? thats not good. can he install a 32 valver and make it run with his current after market engine mangement?
best of luck getting it all together. com'mon down!!!!!

I'll take some photos next week of the car - it should be back together then and pretty...
I suspect that Ken will be running a SC at Laguna Seca.. which should be interesting. He's running the SDS fuel injection system so that might be a bit of a challenge.
I'm going to run the Sprint race just to learn the track and don't want to push the car too hard - save it for the endurance race.
Maybe you should remove your rearview mirrors for the rest of the season and DRIVE!

No doubt, drop the fresh engine in, but do not install the supercharger until there's more time to tune it correctly, otherwise, the new motor will blow too.

I'm not sure if there's enough time to go through the entire SC process before the race - but Ken's a pretty determined person...
Thanks Heinrich - you know we've gone the entire summer without running into each other.. What's up with that?

I wish they were in my rear view mirrors now!!
the vet, camero and now, S2000 w/blower are all a little faster now and getting faster. I just have to hang on and hopefully, at Laguna, where a 928 can run better there than anywhere, i should be ok. Then, next year with the stroker, we can get over the Vipers!

i think ill start with all the stock stuff and see what happens. maybe if i can get the funds together, some head clean up. if not, i suspect 6.5 liter should take me to 390 to 400rwhp. that should be plenty for how the car is set up.
all we need is about a 1:35-6 at laguna to give most anyone a big problem
