Randy,
THAT'S an OB???
Wonder what you'd call a '63 BSA 650? (This is the one I normally ride about..) Or a '55 BSA Gold Star? ( waiting for the magdyno to be rebuilt, and what I'd prefer to be riding!) Or the '48 AJS? ( OH BOY! Soon to be all back together....IF I can find an exhaust pipe....)

Bernie, I have two Suzuki GT550's.

My first bike was in '69, I was 13, a Montgomery Wards (Benelli) 125.

I still have the Rickman 250 I built for 250 GP Vintage Class road racing. I'd like to try to get back into that sometime.... Usually almost last in the field, but go as fast as you can or wish, normally nobody else around you ('cept when the "leaders" pass you), polishing up your go-fast skills, and nobody going the "opposite" way to worry about.

Kelli,

Holy Cr@p! I think I just found my wifes' twin. Look amazingly alike, especially when we first got married. Course now after two children she has filled out some but wow. She never got much into dirt bikes but has always had horses. Motorx was here brothers thing.
Cheers and welcome to the list.

Yeah, I still ride, not as much as i'd like or should. Nothing replaces the feeling of sliding the back end , hooking up and pulling the front wheel on a smooth piece of pavement. the shark has pretty good pull for a car though...

I used to race my Yamaha RD400 in the late 70's,
but haven't ridden for a few years now.

The RD and me (103) at Sears Point, 1977.

I have a '79 BMW R100S, modified a bit (1050cc, 336 cam, dual plugs, lightened flywheel, etc.), which I haven't ridden a whole lot in the two years since my little girl was born.

I love to ride, but right now the potential cost outweighs the benefit.

You go, Kelli grrrrl.

You get my nomination for Official 928 Forum pin-up girl!

Got any pics layin' across the hood of your 928? It would really help to purge the visual of Normy! doing the same thing (an old Forum joke)!

Well I am on my 4th bike.
At 21 I had an old Suzuki GS450.
At 27 I had a 71 Triumph Bonneville hardtail chopper. It vibrated so much at 60 mph you could only make out the shapes of the other vehicles on the road. 6 weeks after I got it, a mini-van turned illegally in front of me, totaled the bike and almost me.
My first MX was a 92RM 125 at 28. I picked up a 98 RM 125 at 29 and raced SX for 1 summer. I don't get to ride as much now because of my current location, Redondo Beach CA.

Here is a list of all my current rides:
Surf Concepts 7' board
Lib Tech - Matt Cummins 155
Ride - Timeless 161
98 Suzuki RM 125
Proflex 857
My work ride is a 2002 Ford Escape 4x4
And the Shark, 87 S4 Auto 114mi

Randy,
I second that motion; BTW let’s see pictures of your first mate.

KJ, you can lay across the hood of my great white any time.

California is calling me.
