Nasty. Remind me to NEVER let you drive my car. LOL. Can't believe that happened the way it did. That looks like a 6k clutch dump with race slicks on the back, not a auto box turning a corner with not even full throttle. Weird.

Damn, those TT pics don't give me that warm and fuzzy feeling if a stock s4 automatic did that at 3/4 throttle.
I wonder what the hell mine is eventually going to look like!

This kind of damage is cumulative. Sean just happened to be the person at the wheel when the final failure happened. The failure point looks like a bundle of spaghetti, doesn't it? Anyway, the same torsional displacement that shortens the driveshaft enough to cause TBF also twists it enough to eventually cause this failure. Generally happens at a weak point at one end or the other, where the twist is applied or received.

I'm back home.................................and I almost cried when I saw my car
There are about a zillion pieces on the garage floor. I start my new job on Monday and I realy wanted to pull into the parking lot in my pretty car.
Stupid torque tubes!

Here are some better pictures of the TT
Notice the other end of the TT.
A HUGE thanks to Jim for installing the 230v and 110v outlets this morning. I now have A/C in the garage. Rog came by to lend a hand but Jim did all the work. Was a good morning.

Got the TT today.
Depending on the concensus on the rear flex plate, we should be starting to put her back together this evening.

Just tried to call. Matter of fact, I couldn't get to all the calls from you guys at lunch today, and now I can't reach any of you......
I'm going to stick it back in there. Let's get this party started.

Mike and I got all but the minor torquing and odds and ends in last night. John stopped by to have some pizza also. I'll just need a Hammer to bleed the PSD and she should be done tonight or Thrusday.

Here's what's left. You can use this as a check list.
Re-connect e-brake cable inside car before your hands get dirty. Install carpeted cover also.
Front flex plate cover
Install large clamps on TT to hold trans lines/vacume line ect.
Install heat sheilds
Install/reconnect axle's
Fill trans with fluid.
Install exhaust-start car before this LOL.
Start car.
Get off Jack stands after checking everything out for leaks/noises ect.
Cool.
