928 is best of show in Ventura
Unfortunately not mine, but a 928 won best of show at the porsche Ventura Show this afternoon. There were 6 928s in this "Peoples Concourse"; mine, and 5 others brought by Advanced Systems And Performance (including Mark's pickup conversion).
The one that won was a gorgeous OB, rust-colored, with a suede interior. Very nice.

Outstanding!!! Thanks for the update Bronto. That must have been very cool with that many 928s in the "show". Unfortunately, I was unable to go at the last minute due to some family issues. Disappointing, but family comes first. Still planning on coming over for Sharktoberfest.

Sharktoberfest is in Anaheim October 26-27-28. www.sharktoberfest.com It's a few hours between Santa Barbara and Anaheim.

OK, here you go...
I'm confused at this point if she's the owner or if it was just under her name because she was driving it; either way, ASAP was responsible for the work on the car
These next few cars were on display and weren't officially in the concourse. I know nothing about them, but would like to!
On a side note, the swap meet today was a little disappointing. Very few 928 items available. I did score a replacement steering wheel though. Not that I needed a new wheel, but the leather cover on mine needs restoration and restitching, but this one is in pretty good shape and so cheap I couldn't pass it up. Better to just swap 'em.

No bronto pics here, either... Looks like they are in a password protected area on that website.
PS: What bronto calls a Pascha "Hankerchief" is actually a scarf. Not sure how many people use huge Designer-Hankerchiefs made of silk...

ASAP!?!?!?!...Oh Nooooooooooooooooo.... It is very possible that this could get EXTREMELY ugly real fast! There is a high probability that the car is stolen as most cars by ASAP are! This was in the infamous crook known as Maverick Marsellis as that is one of his alias's.

ASAP is Maverick in Malibu alright. Sorry I missed the event, but had to go out of town. I guess the next big event is Sharktoberfest

I didn't before but I do now! Thanks Rick. For some reason I had the later weekend marked on my calendar. Wishful thinking for me I guess, since I'll be gone most of the 19-21 weekend.
