John's (soontobered) carpet install pics
I just wanted to show the progress of my carpet install in stepson, as you can tell by the first two pics his carpet was in BAD shape. I am going to be updating as I go, here is what Ive done so far,

I see the rubber backing in your second pic. There is a set on ebay for what appears to be a good price - how do you install it? Does the carpet get glued to it?

I proclaim Justin the new North Texas carpet guru. He is the same Justin with the new cashmere carpet.
The stepson is and was originally Indishrot (red). The windows were all bashed out by the PO's stepson hence the name. While the windows were bashed out it rained and filled up the "tub". The floor plugs were removed to drain the water, about 100 miles of duct tape and cellophane tape were used to "secure" a tarp put over the car to keep the elements out further.
My experience with the rubber/foam backing is that it just lays under the carpet.
Nice avatar Justin!! Looks great!!

Justin,
Again the carpet looks great and what a difference it makes for any 928.
Now that youve done at least two, could share some trade secrets on the install. How long do you usually spend on the job? What materials do you use for the install (adhesives) and are there any trouble areas that youve come across and what if anything youve done to rectify them?

1. Nice job Justin!
2. Do you have pics of your carpet install?
3. Will you cut holes in the carpet in the Stepson so John can run his jumpers into the cabin?
4. Sean, that Avatar is sick.
5. Is that SILVERknit?
6. Justin, your avatar looks great.
