Post Survey: If you could pick any brand new Porsche...

928 Owners:

1. If you could choose one of the currently manufactured Porsche models to own, which one would you want? Let's assume you would not have to buy it, but you'd have to pay for all gas, maintenance, repairs, insurance, registration, etc.

- Boxster
- Boxster S
- Carrera
- Carrera 4S
- Carrera Targa
- Carrera Convetible
- Carrera 4 Conbertible
- Turbo
- GT2
- Carrera GT
- Cayenne S
- Cayenne Turbo

(Did I miss one?)

2. Tiptronic or Manual?

3. Any specific colors or features you're crazy about?

4. Would you trade your 928 for the car you chose above?

- Boxster
XX 3rd Choice XX Boxster S in green
- Carrera
- Carrera 4S
XX 2nd choice XX Carrera Targa in dark blue or white
- Carrera Convetible
- Carrera 4 Conbertible
- Turbo
- GT2
XX 1st choice XX Carrera GT any color, hell I would even take one of these in pink as long as I got to drive it.
- Cayenne S
- Cayenne Turbo

(Did I miss one?)

2. Tiptronic or Manual? Manual

3. Any specific colors or features you're crazy about? Lets see, the Boxster is just a great and fun car. The Targa...well I just love that top and effect it creates as you drive it. The GT..it is a close to a brand new 928 as I can get and that car is just incredible!

4. Would you trade your 928 for the car you chose above?

Hmmmm, probably yes. Reason? I could sell it and still buy a minimum of two very nice 928s after the novelty wears off. Obviously this depends on the car. The boxster = $$ two 928s. The Targa = $$$$ probably four or more 928s. The carrera GT = $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ I cant count that high LOL. Let's just say many many 928's and a fairly nicely equipped new garage as well.

1. since i'd have to pay the incidentals, i prob'ly couldn't afford any higher on the food chain than a Boxster S.

2. Tip.

3. Silver w/ black or red leather.

4. No.

Oh boy....we get to dream...

- Carrera GT

- Manual

- Probably the color blue that also looks green (can't remember the color name at the moment) - with dove grey interior.

- Yep, I'd trade the Shark in on it in a heart beat. Not because I don't love my Shark, but I know that if I couldn't keep the GT, I could sell it and get a couple of other Sharks to keep in the paddock instead! (Heck, maybe even track down my Shark and buy it back )

GT2, like my current GT it only comes in a manual I might as well go wild and get it in Guards Red and find a way to get the factory roll cage into this country. I think I want red seats too.

Of course a C4S in dark grey would be a pretty stealthy cruiser too, naw..... gimme the GT2, you only go around once

Cayenne Turbo. (I already have the car I want)

Ninth fastest production vehicle around Hockenhiem (or was it the Nurburing?). Cant argue with that! The riceboys and the soccer moms will never know what hit em! And I can still haul my bicycles to races and tow a boat or RV.

Make mine Triple Black w/manual trans.

NO WAY! The Blueshark stays with me!

If I really had to take a Porsche I'd have an orange GT2. But if I was getting a current model sports car I wouldn't pick a Porsche, I would have an Aston Martin Vanquish (and No, not bacause of the bond film!).

vanquish

Man! that's the car for me and it's far more in the mould of the 928 than any current P car.

Cheers

GT 1
Carrera GT
GT 2
911 Twin turbo
Cayenne Twin turbo

Couldn't do a Boxster......looks too much like a chick car. See Volkswagen cabriolet, Mazda Miata, BMW Z3 & Z4, & Volkswagen Beetle(new) if you need examples of other chick cars.

Cayenne turbo with a spare engine to put in an old bugger. I would much rather wait, though, for the new 928 variant to come out and get that one.
Tip or manual either one would be fine.
Color: Red
Trade: No way.
