I just went through the same thing. Fuse 26 kept blowing which controls the interior lights and rear hatch. Not 24, 26.
I traced this to one of the flimsy interior lights which broke and shorted causing a fried wire as well. I replaced the wire and am awaiting a light assembly from 928intl but at least I am no longer blowing fuses.

My fuse 24 was blown. The chart I have from 928 Specialists shows #24 as interior lights and #26 as "Tailgate realease" I'm assuming they mean hatch release. I'm still wondering why my drive indicator lights went out. Maybe I'll pull all the fuses one-by-one and check them. The shop that had the car when I first got it must have replaced all the fuses and cleaned all the contacts because everything surprisingly looked brand new in there. I knew all the money I spent must have gone somewhere...

Finally got a chance to install the new light and fuses and everything works! My drive indicator lights are working now and the new dome light along with all the interior lights work as they should. I even got around to installing a new plastic clip for the passenger sun visor that's been broken for 6 years. Minor fixes but at least everything works properly. Thanks to all for the suggestions and especially Bill for making the call on the dome light.
