How to I find out what options my car came with?
The "build" stick is apperently long gone. The effects of 20 years, and a leaky hatch seal have done their damage.
The car also didn't come with an owner's mannaul, so it's not in there.
Any other way, other than paying Porsche 30 bucks for a certificate?

You don't need to pay for the certificate to get the option codes. The Golden One is also missing stickers, I just called PCNA's customer service 800 number, I think its on the website somewhere. The guy answearing the phone looked my VIN and read the options to me.
