We'll find out if it is the same when it arrives!

Here's another one listed by the same source:

It appears to be the OTC 4324 Stinger engine support bar. The same photo is used all over the web for that item.

The pic of the one on ebay shows the support on one side different than the other & not both the same as the one in the posts here?? Is that not a concern?

Here is a web site with one showing both supports the same: http://www.sjdiscounttools.com/otc4324.html

The double support model is almost double the price though $95 vs.$45. All others I found on the net with both supports were around $100+/-. Guess that 2nd support is $50!!

Also, the one in the ebay ad shows shipping as "Lower 48 U.S. States - $26.81".

I'm assuming it is just the angle of the camera. I'm also assuming they are the same item.

The bar, supports, tightening *****, etc. are all identical to the one Carl sells, except his are painted blue.

I think they are the same. There is a single support model, rated at 650 lbs., but it looks different in other ways. The guys used only one support in this job, but I think it came with two. I should know for sure in less than a week whether I got a bargain at $70 shipped.

I can see that now, thanks! So how much does Carl sell it for?? I didn't see it on his site, looked in the sections under Tools, Service, Engine.?? $70 delivered sounds like a great deal to me.

Where is it on Carl's site? I looked at the engine category, tools, body, service and didn't see it.

I couldn't fine it on Carl's site either, so my bid is in at $42.99.

About time I got rid of the 4x4 fence post.
Just bought one of the 1100 and I will remove one of the supports.
Thanks Bill

I hope so too. There was a similar one floating around last year that was slightly too wide, but this one looks adjustable enough to overcome that.

That was fast! This thing is sturdy! Must weight 40-50 lbs.

It's hard to fathom how big this thing is. Those are 12" tiles. In fact, this thing is overkill. I checked and it does fit the car, but it is so heavy, it's very cumbersome. The 650 lb version would probably work just as well and be much easier to use.
