Post All wheel steering?

First, an S4 was listed as "all wheel drive", now this...

<a href="http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2405926337&category=6432" target="_blank">http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2405926337&category=6432</a>

Was there a second generation Weissach system that I'm not aware of?

Yep, that person is correct. All 928's that do not have the rear axle bolted due to a very large rim and tire set-up has an all wheel steering car. The 928 has a passive all wheel steering system vs the active ones on the 3000 GT's or Prelude 4WS.

Soooo,
By "Manual" transmission, does that mean you have to manually put it in gear?
Damn, I have been looking for an automatic, automatic 928 for years now.

OK fellas,

That looks like a 86.5.......
It has that little vacuum actuator located on the fender brace and I believe that was done with the 86.5 cars. Definately wasn't done on the 85.
Might be worth some hush, hush, investigation with this extremely intelligent seller to find out some extra particulars on this car.
Oooopss, now I've gone and done it. Sorry to anyone that was figuring it was a 86.5 and wanted it to slide in on that sale.
Damn Rennlist spoils it for everyone

Welcome to post number 500
Yippeeeee!!!!

Yea, the 86.5 is THE car for me - especially a green one. If it was a 5-speed, I would be freakin' right now. Its really an 86.5 to a GTS for me. No offence to the S4 and GT owners. I just can't get over the look of the earlier cars and love the suspension and brakes of the S4. If I can't have the look that I like then I will take the awesome GTS perfomance as a substitute......

For those of you that may be interested, I contacted the seller of tha 86.5 and asked what his reserve price was.

6000.00

Dude, someone should be seriously looking at that car. I wish I could.....
