I figured this would be a good time to take a few pic's. of the set up, being that I'm about ready to see if it starts and if it bursts into flames at least I can prove I did it. I actually hooked up a jumper switch to the fuel pump relay socket and tucked it under the pass. side windshield wiper, this turned out to to be a good fuel pressure test because two of the new injectors weren't sealed tight in the rail and gave a good spray.

Thanks, It did fire up and run smooth with the 30LBS injectors and pressure set at 30 psi @ idle. I verified oil flow to the SC with maintaining good pressure to the engine, this was all done without the SC belt on. After a few more double checks on fittings and hoses I'll be ready to test it with the belt on.
Brendan, I actually got lucky and found most of the parts on Ebay, anything I couldn't find I made or had made.
Randy, I must admit I had a printed photo of your setup taped to the windshield so I knew where everything went :')
I do have a couple questions I havn't figure out yet, I'll send you a PM when I compile them.
Thanks for the offer.
Eric,
The liquid cooler i sold you looks good on the car.Mycars coming along as we speak im currently putting the power steering pump and alternator set up from a 85-90 928 into my 84 so i can upgrade the pulley system. What size drive pulley are you using for the SC? im starting off with a 3.12"
Eric, excellent work! I think we have the same SC (S trim? huge monstrousity?) and I plan on mounting exactly the same way you have done, among others. I send you a PM a while ago about an email you sent me. What all did you have to make/have made? I assume plumbing, brackets, and pulleys? Great job! Can't wait for the dyno results!
Nice pix. Clean looking install. I put a Vortex on my S4. It was from a kit , but it did not fit at all. I shredded many belts before I finally made my own mods to get everything aligned. It runs very well now. However, I would very much appreciate any advice as to two problems.
1. The K&N filter sucks hot air from directly behind the radiator. Once the thermostat opens up, you can feel the loss of power. Any Ideas how to relocate the intake filter??
2. How did you manage to get an intercooler into the engine bay?? Your parts look really great. Could you get me a list of those items, or at least tell me where to look?
Many thanks,
John Boucher

I would like to know where the tube from the engine to the intercooler came from? I would like to get something similar to put a KN one the end and replace the airbox
I know I'm a 944 guy, and probably shouldn't be here, but I have a fascination with the "shark". Anyway, what about making a new airbox that pulls air from a scoop on the hood. I know I would feel bad about cutting a hole in a Porsche, I guess you could always make a prototype out of glass. Nothing "ricey", just a discreet scoop that seals to the airbox, that way you would always have cold air. Anyway, just my two cents. By the way, on my way back from College Station, just outside of town I saw a gorgeous black 928 S4 for sale, was it one of you guys?
