Default Reached a new low in Shark addiction..

Had to buy a 2G mini SD card for my phone so I could have the PET and WSM at my finger tips 24/7.

That means I'm either a Shark junky, or my shark breaks down a lot..

Of course it makes for great reading on my bathroom breaks!

I'm imagining you trying to read wiring diagrams on your phone.

T-Mobil Wing. It's like an I-phone but windows based. Has slide out keyboard incase you hate touch screen. It has full internet browsing which is cool checking rennlist! Also works as wifi for my laptop on the road.

I only loaded my year wiring diagram to save memory but it works fine. You can only see part of the page at a time, but it's easy to scroll around. You can drag the image with your finger on the screen.

How does PET work? Does it get confused by the small screen? (Yes, I'm seriously interested in copy-catting you I usually drag my laptop on long-distance 928 trips so that I can have PET, WSM, and other 928 stuff. It would be way-nerdly cool to have all that stuff in a pocket form factor.)

I have the PDF versions of PET and the manuals on my T-Mobile MDA (Windows Mobile 5 predecessor of the Wing) and it works quite good for a little bit of reading with the pocket version of acrobat reader...dont expect to look any any wiring diagrams or detailed pics tho, the screen is just to small.

Thats why there is a LCD touch screen on the wall in my garage with a computer hidden under the workbench ;-)

But for an occasional read pretty cool!

Pet works fine if you have the screen set to desktop mode. Takes a bit to get around the screen though. It's like cutting a 3 inch hole in a piece of carboard and putting it over your monitor. You can move the hole anywhere ont he screen you want with great clearity, but you can also only see 3" at a time, which makes getting lost on a page easy..

I'll see if I can get a pic of it in action.

I have a Cingular/ATT Blackjack. It also has a 2 gig mini SD and could hold this as it's also Windows based and digests PDF files. Best phone/PDA I've ever had, and I've had a bunch starting with a Handspring with the plug-in phone module. It even works great as a phone....

It should be fine with PDFs, but you won't be able to run PET unless some geeks hack up a win32 emulator for it. Chances are they will or already have...
