So, is that her way of saying "Over my dead body"

Women love this car too as long as it doesn't take too much attention away from them.

Question

Every time I buy something for my 84S, she remodels a room in our house. It started when I bought the car and, quick like a bunny, she spent $65K for a new kitchen, but...get this...she won't let me wash parts in her new sink. How quickly she forgot that my 928 is the reason why she got the new sink! Women! YOu can't live with them...you can't wash them in the driveway on Saturday morning.

It is possible to put the 87 and later bumper cap on but there is a considerable amount of work involved. It is also much more difficult that using the fiber glass bumper cap because the factory bumper cover is plastic and not as easy to mold in areas where the bumper cover will have difficulty mating with the early model body. Additionally, in either case you will be required to remove the 5mph bumper underneath the early models bumper cover so the the later model cover will fit. Lastly, there is a plastic bead that fits between the bumper cover for the later models and the body of the car. Without this bead you will have a honking hige gap between the body and the bumper cover, in other words it will not fit flush. In the case of the Predator I removed the plastic bead entirely and had addtional fiber glass filled into the gap and

then- the after with the fiber glass bumper cap from an 95 with a new chin spoiler.

If you look closely you will see there is some very detailed work that went into mating the fiberglass bumper to the body of the car giving it a much cleaner, finished and, professional appearence.

The big draw back to the fiberglass is it will crack like an eggshell with even the slightest bump. I would highly reccomend NOT using the rear fiberglass bumper cover.
