so there are lights behind them that are supposed to work?? I thought they were just reflectors so oncoming traffic wouldn't hit us while we're figuring out why our headlights won't work... hmmmmm....

Thanks so much. Am checking to determine whether they will fit a 1987 S4- the one I smashed looks somewhat elongated.

Measures about 12.25 inches by 3 inches.
