Its nice to have your 928 noticed or acknowledged. Even if they don't know exactly what they are looking at. At least she noticed enough to want to pay a compliment to you! That's certainly more rare with it being a young lady. I try to look at it as an opportunity to educate.

Interesting that whenever I'm explaining whichever shark has gotten attention, the one thing that usually gets the greatest suprise or the "Oh Really??" response is if I happen to remember to mention the base price of my 928 when it was new. Had that happen last month when a neighbor stopped by the house when he noticed both sharks out of the garage in the driveway. He referenced his familiarity with the 944 & 911 of the 1980s, so of course I had to clarify the 928's position at the time of production in comparison to those two P-models. Was funny to see the suprised look on his face when I did a compare & contrast, especially when it came to the prices!

It sure is no chick car. My wife will not drive mine. Too low, too loud and "sometimes I have to use both hands to move the shifter thingy"

I know it's some kind of Vette? VETTE? Why, I would have kicked her in the teeth right after I got finished punching her lights outs and dragging her across the hot asphalt. And she must have really been blind (or maybe just blonde), cause she had to follow you home which meant she was looking at the rear of the car with these great big P O R S C H E letters staring her in the face. That's what I call a very observant person. NOT! Sheesh!

My apologies to bigmac, but I'm kinda with Andrew (before he wussed on you) and Fabio. If she was interested enough to follow you to the house or wherever with a line like "I'm afraid my car is going to get wet" or whichever line you used, she needed to be bent over the hood and shown the fine art of body alignment with your body alignment tool.
Again, all apologies to bigmac, but why in the world would you want a vette when you got a 928?

She definately was thinking about other things while following you home. Usually if they throw you a compliment like that, it could mean, unfortunately, almost anything.
My guess: She knows almost nothing about cars except where the "710" cap is located at on the engine.

Ummmm by the way, what are you doing asking a girl like that to follow you home, you know you are already wearing the ball and chain! Hahahaha..... Looks suspicious to me!!!!
