Edit- Ok, not as dumb as it appeared. Found the problem, and now have 13.9 volts with engine running.
Still no avatar though.

CD? Where do I get the CD, and how much does that cost? But wait, I've got the shop manuals. You mean, the shop manual does not have alt/reg info?

I'm ASSUMING that the shop manual you have and the shop manual on my PET 5 CD have the same "chapters" Is there a section 27 in your manuals with a page 25?

Nope. I was thinking the same thing. Incomplete. At least I found the problem. But still, having a COMPLETE manual would be very handy.

Jim Morehouse is on this board and he sells the best PET5 CD. That's where I got mine. You might try looking him up.

Drove the car for the first time yesterday. Quite nice.
Gets smogged, this morning.
