The engine is going back in this Saturday!
It's pretty much all back together, and the local 928 gang in Detroit will be stopping by this Saturday for the official re-install.
I usually don't get the chance to head out to the garage until around 10pm each weeknight, so all this has been done between 10pm and 12am during the past few weeks.
I plan on turning the key before next Saturday.

Wow that engine looks great , i hope the install goes without a hitch, if you have not done so it is almost a necessity to replace all of the fuel injection hoses , goodluck, Stan

Ahh one other thing you probably already know this but the lower timing cover goes on before the big pulley gets torqued and also one of the tensioner bolts is used to fasten the lower cover to the engine, easy to do with the engine on the stand,Goodluck, Stan

Dave,
That color combination looks outstanding! ... 'course, I am a little biased... and as we all know by now, the red intake and cam covers WILL make your 928 go faster
Great job, it looks so good, you almost don't want to put it back in the car... almost, but then there would be no BWAAAAAAAAAH! and what's the fun in that!?!
