Default Possible to remove wheels studs on the rear without taking it all apart??

Is there an easier way to remove the rear wheel studs and replace them with longer ones if needed (and i need to get rid of those spacers. too risky), other than pulling the entire assembly off ?
I had one off once when i was changing the wheel bearing, should have done that one then!

i know you probably need to press them out, but a good wack with a 10lb mallet, would that do the trick, if there is room on the opposite side??

to remove the wheel studs the rear wheel flange must be pressed out of the rear wheel bearing once this happens the rear wheel bearing becomes a nice paper weight, NO WAY does it get put back together to go racing..............Goodluck
Hitting the flange with the mallet may damage the bearing and cause hi speed failure. Stan

Mark, I wasn't trying to be a smartass, it just comes naturaly.

I posted the same question about two months ago. I needed to go to a shorter stud. I would try to find the thread and post it but the search function isn't cooperating lately.

Its easy to remove old studs by chopping them to pieces but no way to put in new ones in in one piece.

well, should have done it while i had the chance. so, the hub has to come apart too? so, new rear wheel bearing job, and then change the studs is the only way.

thanks.
