Nice! Price & miles isn't that bad either.

I always get a chuckle out of large number of folks in the upper midwest and the northern states who list vehicles as "a Kalifornia car". Not saying this isn't one - just that there seem to be a large number of them up there.

Mine is. At least that's what the option code says. It currently resides in the middle midwest though. Can I still call it a California car?

I always wonder about listings like this. If the owner didn't think it was necessary to vacume the car before trying to sell it, what mechanical issues did they neglect?

Depends. I guess if it was once registered in Kalifornia it is. But can a seller truly say it's a left coast car if it hasn't been in the state for more than 5 years? 10 years? 15 or 20 years? What is the drop off point where it becomes deceitful on the part of the seller to claim that? There are many upset folks (rightfully so) out there who’ve been burned thinking that they’d purchased rust free.

Personally I’d say 5 years would be the limit unless it can be proven that it has been garaged during the winter months and well maintained after the move. After that and depending on the care of the vehicle - the selling point of a “Kalifornia car” would seem to be arguable & a bit of a stretch.

BTW it must be added that just because it’s a “Kalifornia Car” doesn’t mean it’s in perfect condition. I’ve had a few cars over the years that have rusted out from under me that where always registered in this state.
