Tim and Cheryl - AWESOME! It is very difficult to exit a corner at 185mph plus, and then as if that is not hairy enough, punch it to accererate! And then to do it again! WOW!
You have approached the goal with caution, precision, knowledge and execution. The caution to know your limits, the precision to know that your machine is ready, the knowledge to realize that a failure in either machine or safety can be fatal, and in execution to have the wisedon to put it all together as a system "right" to acheive the goal, recognize when it is not right and make the changes neecessary, and live to tell about it!
And yes, The Beast is now the fastest (or will be when there is longer runway and less headwind) and best handling 928 ever built, that is of course, until we bolt on the 600 rwhp intake And then the game will change again!
Very nice tape job, I do have some improvement for you for next event.
Welcome to the Club.
Maybe time for a family photo? Will there be room for a third?? Lets get going George!!

A very well done to you Tim and Cheryl , I almost missed this thread as I haven't been on the board much of late, how poorer I would have been if I hadn't seen it! You brought a very big smile to my face I'll have a drink to you achievement tonight also .
Marc mentioned throttle bodies on the way, how much power do you have at present to achieve this speed in you current config? Also have you got a fully flat floor under the car? Also if you could comment on your wheel setup that would be of interest too.
Well done and thanks
Greg

Three Wheelin'
Tim and Cheryl....... Congratulations! What an achievement and a roller coaster of emotion with thinking you had not done well, and later finding you were on top of your game all along. Great perception of the situation while in the heat of accomplishment. I can only imagine.

Congratulations!! I cannot even imagine what that speed must feel like and to hold it for a measured distance on a road course! Being at speed with a racer driving on a track with me as a passenger I can say that when you personally are not the one driving the speed feels even greater and scarier! I don't know if I could have done Cherly's job. Great job Tim and Cheryl!
And what I love about this the most is that the 928 looks like a very normal street 928, no weird wings and body add ons, nice and clean original 928 shape. That is quiet a testament to the overall 928 design.
Question: Is the undercarriage sheilded all the way or does it use just the stock belly pans?

Our wheels are the competition version of the forgeline wheels. We are using Michelin PS2's 245/45/18 (Y) in front and 275/40/18 (Y) in the back.
