Default Brake related question. What's the WSM mean when it says...

4. Check 20 degree piston position and if necessary adjust with piston turning pliers.

I'm probably just being a little thick, but what the heck is meant by the WSM here? What's this tool? What's being checked? I've never seen this done before.

The pistons have a relief cut in the surface that contacts the pad. What they are talking about is making sure that relief is in the correct position. If it's the wrong way around, it will not put pressure on the pad in the correct area.
