Default WTB: Shocks Again!

Does anybody have some good low mileage take offs or new units kicking around they can do me a good deal on? I've already payed for a set that never turned up from a fellow rennlister so i'm a little annoyed about it, but live and learn.

I only need the fronts as the rears were changed about 5k ago by the PO.
If it makes any difference my car is an 85 euro. I think the only difference between the early and late cars were the early had oil filled shocks and the later gas charged.

Thanks,
Ben.

Ben,
I have a new set of gas rears you can have for $80 each if that helps.
Shipping is not cheap these days as we no longer have surface mail - airmail only.
They were left over from a batch of stuff I bought on eBay.

why do you want used shocks?

they are labor intensive to install, just swing for new ones, you can get new Boge shocks for $250 of so for the pair of fronts.

I have a pair of used 100K miles shocks from my GT but they really arent worth anything and will cost you as Roger said quite a bit to have them sent to you.

Good luck

Ryan, thanks for the very kind offer! What was your reason for changing them out? Do you know if my existing hardware will fit?

do you have adjustable spring perches on yours now? if so then yes they will work.

Again, I STRONGLY SUGGEST YOU PURCHASE NEW.

But my shocks are going in the trash otherwise, so if you want them they are your for shipping costs.

Ben, check with Paul Anderson. I got a set of 6 month old Bilsteins off him a couple of years ago, they transformed the car. I could never have afforded them new, and he sold them to me at about half the new part price.

Sorry Ben I misread your post.
My normal price for the fronts is $107.95 each.
Shipping to you in sunny Somerset is about $35.
I have them in stock.
Let me know.

Buy them from Roger, just go new, and $107 is the best price ive seen for front Boge gas shocks.

ALso if you get old ones you could end up with the crap oil filled dampers.

This is very good advice, and you would do well in the long-run to heed it!

You can get a full set of Boges for not much more than $250.

Edit, apparently prices went up drastically in the last few months. A whole set is almost $400 now.
