The car looks great. The pics of the calipers are sweet. They probably looks better in person. But I was going to mention the same thing. But it seems like your getting dangerously close to over doing it in all white and silver. Other than red, I don't know what other color would have looked better than that silver. I guess there isn't much else for you to change at this point. Of course, you'll probably surprise everyone once again and makes all a little more green with envy after your next upgrade.

That's gotta be one of the biggest myths about Po r t l.......uh, NO, I mean , uh, NO WAY, I had to drive to California to take that picture.....yea, it's still raining here! Geez..is it ever going to stop!?!?!

Of course, you'll probably surprise everyone once again...
The console reconfig is done for the most part and I just got side tracked on this latest brake thing since it HAD to be done. I should be posting in a week or so on the finals of that one.

..and yes...it looks much better in person IMHO

BTW, I still have a few tricks up my sleeve over the coming months so don't get too comfy with "he's done all he can do."

Maybe Louie?
Brian - no its the other way around - all the sensor are connected (shorted) until they wear out. They are connected in series so any one failing sets off the alarm - but it won't tell you which one.

Keith either test each sensor (removed) for continuity or short across the contacts of each one in sequence and see if that shows you which it is.

A hammer will not help diagnose this issue

I did this Alan. I wish I would have kept one of the old sensors and just made a by-pass to plug in to the recepticle. I could have worked my way around the car to see if it actually IS a sensor. I kinda doubt it since I did disconnect each sensor and run a signal through.

Keith-
I hate to say this, but I will anyway. You take your wheels off often enough that you probably don't need pad sensors. My car does not have them anymore and I take my wheels off probably a few times a year - maybe more. I just take a peak at the pads and make a note whether I need to get new pads or not. Just a thought.

Yeah but it's still a PITA to see the brake pad warning light all the time. If I read Keith's post correctly, he's going to keep getting the warning light, even if he were to jumper all 4 pad warning plugs. The interruption is somewhere else, and it's a bitch to find.

Brian's right...besides, I am still not ready to hack a GTS for convenience sake. Tracking stuff like this down gives me something to do. It's only fun when I don't have other pending projects though. I am 99% sure that it is not at the sensors. Though I am going to run a signal around the car and see if I pick up the signal at each sensor recepticle. This will make me 100% sure it is not at the sensors.

I like how my new 18s let you see the big blacks and rotors in there.
