Long Island members ?
I'm asking those on LI who wish to pursue establishing some sort of loose organization for help, drives, comraderie, etc. post a response or PM me. I'm trying to guage the amount of interest and in what areas the interest shows itself to see if we can improve our lot. Thanks

Count me in.. Note there is always the car meet at bald hill that takes place each week on long island that we can get some sharks together at...easy to get to and lots of other interesting cars to see..

The OBI thing is quite popular. A client of mine goes there with his corvette. I am told it is very crowded but nice. The problem is getting people up very earlt on a Sunday morning.

Queens and Brooklyn are both parts of Long Island last time I looked. If you're from NYC and have the enthusiasm to drive out on a Tuesday nite 
Bald Hill is good because its on a Tueday nite. It doesn't really compete with anything else. Its impromptu and casual. If a few people show up, we can let the BS session take us where it goes.
Captree (Jones Beach) is terrific early on a Sunday. You could be home by 10AM, but you do have to go early. Maybe we can set up a drive for early Sunday morning. Its certainly something to discuss tomorrow nite.
