No problem following the plug wire discussion, John. In fact, I'm quite avidly following such discussions. Just had to reread the part about female aviators a few times before deciding that's a WHOLE other discussion.

Cool

Toyota Limo?

I think that was a concept car at an autoshow some time....not familiar in any case.

As to hemi wires....if you can get some and fit them to your engine, by all means do so! Let us know how it works. Toyota's V8 is a 4664 cc engine- exactly the same as some of your favorite Teutonic conveyances. It is not the same engine [nor is Chrysler's new 4.7 V8 which is also 4664 cc's....] as your shark- it is tuned for torque rather than rpm and is certainly not interchangeable.

Anything is possible but don't you go doing it!

Well, wires are wires. I am not conviced that a wire is necessarily better than the original equipment. At the same time, an old wire is an invitation to problems as most systems on our cars operate at 12 volts and a tiny bit of corrosion can make a huge difference. Clean all the contacts first....

Fly safe please-

Flint,
Wasn't chewing on ya', just clarifying.
The aviator stuff - there are a few of them on the Renn. - was to tickle Norm and see if he still had his old wires.
I had sent him an E-mail concerning same but he didn't get it and I didn't Bcc to insure that he did.I'm on Explorer thru Apex but my daughter has loaded AOL and there are soft ware issues...
Anyhow, I'm getting the wires.
BTW if you hadn' noticed I'm a bit on the long winded side and do wander out of the Ballpark...regularly.

I currently have Nology wires on my 84 944. I'm looking to get rid of them ASAP. I have experienced a moderate amount of arcing and NO WIRES are touching the hood. I find it also odd that these wires have a ground. I would reccommend Taylor 8mm or Magnecore for those of you who look for a high performance ignition system and an MSD 6A unit hookup with Blaster 2 Coil.
