ATF ? 2
ATF Level right at the top, with the car off.
Running in "n" and hot, vary low,?
Do I add when the car is running? and in "n".
Because I can not add if the car is in "p"
no room.
Thanks
Greg

All trans fluid level checks are to be done with the car level and the engine running. There are marks for cold, min hot and max hot. It is normal as I understand it, for the level to be high when the engine is off. But it is measured with the engine running.
I know from experience that trans fluid level is critical to how your trans will perform. I am mostly concerned about the level when the trans is a normal operating temp (hot) and in park or neutral. I use park. Car must be completely level when checking. There is only a little difference in volume of fluid between hot min and hot max. It's hot max for me.
I would recomend that you take the time to warm the car up to normal operating temp, raise it level, support properly with stands and check the fluid level with the car in park, motor running and the fluid warm. Adding fluid to the hot trans is a PITA, but fluid level is critical.
my 2cents.
