Default Shark Saved, Gerrys new 82!!!

Gerry just got his "saved" 1982 auto from 928intl......after driving it...I gotta say it was a steal for $2500.....once Gerry gets my old wheels-tires on it will be a great driver......bummer the tires are flat spotted since they are in good shape with lots of tread left.....heres some pics

Its "hellblau metallic"

Really nice color in person...kinda like a sky blue...just a shade lighter than Kirts 80?

I thought I got a good deal but that is outstanding, and I love that color. Of course, I'm Tar Heel...

Very nice indeed, Gerry!! $2500 is just icing on the cake

The '80 is Petrol Blue, which has some green tinge and is a bit darker - that looks almost like a "crystal" blue... nice looker and seems really clean.

Miles? and howz it drive?

Gonna love the throttle response (kinda says "come on, let's play") and 1-2 shift at WOT is a kick - sorta rips your teeth out ...very addictive fun driver.

Damn!

That's a great catch. We have shark tournaments here on the Jersey Shore, you would take the prize with that one .

Consider yourself added to the long and growing list of people of whom I'm jealous.

They say to 'Drive it like you stole it!'. In this case I think you did.

Good luck and Enjoy!

Kirt
It has 71K miles...but the odo is not working, which is odd since the speedo is (odo gear).....drives good, except for the out of round tires...power feels good....not as strong as an S4 or Gerrys 78 track car.....but still fun & very smooth....quiet too...nice throaty idle...then gets real quiet in the rpms....kinda odd? But I didn't get to top out 1st gear driving around our neighborhood either.....after an oil change-coolant-tranny & tune up.....it will be SWEET!
