Beej,

So see if your pops will swap me straight up - GTS for the S4. After all, the S4 is lighter and, with the 2.20 gears should be a better cruiser than that skanky GTS he's got.

Whaddya think? Deal??

That is pretty funny though!

So, Rick, tell us why you bought another 928 that's kind of the same as you already have. Or are you trying to collect one of each nice color combination?

In any case, it looks like you got a helluva deal! Congratulations!

Hey Nicole,

I figured it'd be cool to have 650 rwhp and that was a quick and cost effective way to do it

Actually, dunno exactly what I'll do with it yet. Hey how about a 7.0 liter?!? Now wouldn't that be slick???

Hmmmm.....

Thanks all!

Nicole:

This one's not EVEN close to being kind of the same as my GT! Less ponies; less torque; less watts; less weight (oh well).....

Beth:

Current plan is to have DEVEK do full inspection. All services appear up to date, inc. t/b & w/p. No leaks. A/C redone.

Only known issues at this time are: cracks @ dash & pod, inop rear wiper, and front tire wear due to improper (now corrected) alignment. (Knock on wood).

My first 928 was a Venezia Blau '87S4/auto. Really like the color.

Oh, and tear it up @ the A/X you're doing!!

Ciao.....

Sounds like you got a great deal. But hey!!!! What's this supposed to mean:

This one's not EVEN close to being kind of the same as my GT! Less ponies; less torque; less watts; less weight (oh well).....

Don't "oh well" a '87 S4!!! That's what my car is!!!!!! It's not like your other car - but it's not an "oh well".

Hey guess what! I got my manuals.

So Beth,

Believe me, I'm not one to knock ANY 928. That said, perhaps someday, maybe there'll be an opportunity for you to go for a quick ride in my GT. Then maybe I can add you to my OS count. Call Susan - she'll explain what all that means.

Best.....

Hey Beth,

Don't forget to bring any trophies that you may win to the Wash & Shine next weekend.

Ok Rob, I will, if there's enough room in the car for them all .
Hey! I had a meeting in San Ramon today so I stopped by the Auto Affair. I met Miguel, what a nice guy, and I was there for 40 minutes! When I told him I had a 928 the first thing he asked was if I knew you. I explained how you had told me about him and his shop. He showed me all his new items, his plans for the store, his Acura that was out front (nice car) We talked about Porsches and Ferraris and racing. I bought some car care products to "pretty up" for Sunday the 25th. So many nice things in that shop . . . . especially him oops, did I say that . . . . well he is quite handsome and charming . . . . .
