Just a reminder. Sharks doing the Blue Ridge Parkway run South to SITM BWAAHHHHH Caravan style will be meeting at Mile Marker 1 (technically a parking lot at the northern entrance to the BRP) between 10:00 and 10:30 AM Tomorrow (RT 64 and the BRP east of Waynesboro, VA). Lauch will be no later than 11:00 AM. You are going to want and are highly encouraged to bring a 22x38 channel radio for the SITM events, and that will come in handy when we meet up and as we run the parkway (you will see :-). We will use Channel 9, sub channel 28 (928). There are many brands available with communication ranges of 2, 5 and 7 miles. I highly recommend that every car carry one of these. It will add to your enjoyment of the run and provides some added "safety" getting guidance from the lead cars (really you will see :-) and allows us to back track to help out someone having any mechanical problems.

Also it would be a good idea if everybody tops off their gas tanks before taking off at 11:00, from what I remember there's only 2 gas stations on the entire 370 some odd mile parkway, not a good place to run out.

BTW, I have two extra radios for those that need one.
