Jeez... Do I ever have a LOT of people to thank!
Some of us had a bit of an adventure prior to the event! First of all, thanks to Stevestik, IB Kevin , Ron V. and Debbie for sticking it out with Amy and I on the way up. My 928 had a rather catastrophic failure (Sudden radiator tank crack) just north of Hesperia on 395. We assessed the situation and decided we might be able to continue the trip with stop-leak. Wellll... the first bottle was apparently inadequate as we made at least 5 stops along the way to add water and more stop-leak to the cooling system. Mind you it was hovering @ 104 degrees in the high desert we were traveling thru! At this point I must also thank Jim Bailey and the staff at 928 International for overnighting a new radiator to the Cal-Neva Resort on Saturday. After a few adjustments, the radiator was installed Saturday evening and the car was running again Sunday morning in time to get to Tim and Cheryl's beautiful home for the BBQ and get together. Thank you also to Stan at SLC Motorsport for his invaluable technical support in dealing with the radiator installation. Much appreciated! Also thanks to Erik Mickelsen, Stevestik, Ron V., Tim Dey and others I am sure I am missing for the help with the installation as well. Tim had his trailer there and a nice supply of tools! Couldn't have done it without you!
The trip back Monday morning was thankfully, uneventful. The 928 stayed cool and so far seems to have survived the ordeal. The driver's side cooling fan bearings/bushings seem to have packed it in though, as the fan motor is howling... It's only $$$...
Last but not least, thank you Tim and Cheryl for putting on yet another fine event!! I can't wait for next year! Hopefully with a little less drama.

The SATL was a great time with the best people doing the hosting chores and putting their best foot forward. Tim and Cheryl, I cant say enough about your passion for the lives that you both lead and the abundant goodness that is your result. Thanks to everyone for taking time to be a part of this, and I am glad to be associated with a great group of 928 owners , and i look forward to meeting more in Denver. The Cal Neva hotel was a wonderful experience as well, thanks again Stan

I was told by everyone that the SATL was a "must"...and now I see why.
Our sincere thanks to Tim and Cheryl for organizing this.
Great event, excellent hotel, enjoyable people, and nice drives.
And thanks also to the sponsors of the banquet prizes, the girls were almost speechless (almost)
Looking forward to next year.

Tim any chance you might have left the camera in the wine cellar? or the garage? The only time i saw it was when you took our picture out front of your house,I am sure it will turn up, Stan

Nope, Cheryl brought the camera in the house when we parked the car. Maybe the dog ate it. I will get the opportunity to upgrade sooner than expected. These are the photos that Eric Anderson took including the roof shots.
Cheryl & I would like to thank all of the great folks who took their time to experience Sharks at the Lake this year.
See you soon.
