Well its official, and here's the proof A 968 is better than a 928
Maybe the guy thinks its better because 6 is a greater number than 2? Who knows.

The right color combination, 6-speed cabrio 968 is on my "will buy some day" list.

Ok, I don't know about better, but they are great, mine is better than my 928s right now, since it is in the garage and I can drive her, the shark is just being reassembled from paint, and then there is that thing the whole interior ripped out and in MI with Robert Budd... it will be tough to choose when the shark is done.

He's just doing smart internet marketing. Anyone doing a seach on eBay for "porsche 928" will get this listing delivered to them. And given how little known the 968 is outside of the enthusiasts, he just might sell someone on a baby shark.

Don't forget no torque must be better too, maybe it's the addition of a couple of balance shafts to attempt to compensate for the missing cylinders that makes it better.

I have to say...
I have driven a few 968's and.....I don't know what is great about them - it is a not-small 4 cylinder na car that is slower than f-ing mollasses.
I'll take any 928 any day of the week.
I mean, they handle okay for torsion bar car, but....
A 928 you can cruise on the highway for 40 days and 40 nights at 140 mph and it will laugh at you - try that with a 968 and..well, if you can get to 140 you'll need a calender, then it will overheat after about an hour.
The best thing about the 968 was the tranny - I am glad they made them so us 951 guys can lift them.
