You would think that a dealer in European used cars and knowledge of auction prices and current retail prices would have priced it higher if they knew it was at least a fair driving car. They obviously are making some profit on 16900 so looking back at where they got it and for how much and then where that PO got it and for how much....either someone was asleep at the wheel in one of those transactions or someone really knew it had problems and the car never brought anything at trade in or auction. I tend to favor the later example, that the car is priced near what it is worth in its current state...not to say a new owner that can wrench his own couldn't make it a decent driver if he lucks out without having a near future mechanical disaster.

The problem is you might need about three of these to make it worth your while. As much as I am a fan of Amazon green I would rather take a mechanically sound car and paint it than fix up a car that has been obviously neglected.
