Default Passenger Headlight Problem

Hey guys, I'm working on a friends 80 auto. I'm having a problem with the passenger side headlight. The headlights pop up fine, but the passenger side light isn't coming on. High beams work fine on both sides. I'm not getting voltage at the light. But, I do get 12v where the yellow wire runs from the wiring panel to the light. So, it appears there is a short in the wire before it gets to the headlight. I double checked the relay and all is good. I'm thinking the short could be somewhere in the engine bay prior to the light. Any ideas anyone? I'm thinking about running another wire for a temporary fix.
Thanks in Advance,

Chris

I had this prob on the road once. broken wire where they flex during headlight up-down. access was in wheel well. Removed wheel for better access. took headlight out, found the spot ,wire and tape fix until I was home a few weeks later for a more permanent fix.

Thanks guys, I'm going to try and find the spot where it's broken. Fuses and relay are good, I'm getting 12v on both sides of all of them. Let you know what happens.

rcoble: You were right on the money! As soon as I pulled the plastic cover out of the wheel well, I could see where the wire was broke. I patched it up and now the light works perfect.
Thanks Alot!
Chris
