If you have seen a lot of race cars you know what they look like. Our car was georgeous at the car show. Unfortunately we were parked next to a brand new Ford GT. They won the best looking car award. Lets try the competition again when it's 18 years old.

As soon as I catch up on some sleep I'll post these pics also.

You're in some pretty exclusive company @ 200 mph! The entire "Shark " community is proud of your accomplishment- Bravo!

Mark,
Maybe just try the engine. I'm quite sure the car would push badly on a road course. Good for me, bad for you.

Tim,

Way to go. I know it's a rush to be at the starting line waiting to go and thinking "what am I doing?"
and "what did if forget?". Then the green light go on and all you can think is "it's showtime!".
Great job, and great job to Cheryl.

I'm looking forward to the Bonneville 100 when I'll get a chance to live out the fantasy... See you
soon. And yes my spoiler looks good...

Tim:

Simply awesome. You've joined a rather exclusive club. I didn't expect you to push it that hard on the first race. Serious congratulations!

I haven't either. My car is a 98 lb weakling compared to the Beast.

Way to go Cheryl!
How many of our spouses or GF's could hang on during a 200mph run! ??
I sat in front of this monitor watching one of Georges 170 mph runs from his CD, and I was on the edge of my seat ...putting a choke hold on the mouse!
Takes almost more nerve to be a navigator i imagine!
