Great photos, guys -- especially George. Lots of great shots.
Thanks Bill, for putting on such a great event. Always a pleasure, and a great drive too. I need to plan better, so I don't have to be home till 7 or so -- I missed some of twisties. I had to peel of at Hwy 80 to be on time for a date.
It was great seeing all the familiar and new faces! See you all at the next event -- SATL anyone?

Thanks for the positive comments on the photos. I'm glad you all liked them.
Bill, If you want to put together a NorCal928 Calendar, we can talk...
I don't ususally "photoshop" my photos, but here is a "cleaned" up version of that shot:

I wish I had gotten a recording of that idiot throwing insults with andre, that was pretty hilarious.

If college boy had stayed for more he would have been abused more than he was doing to himself. I never got time to rip him one about, "Please come back to play when you can afford more than two wheels to drive!"
Bill it was great to see you there!

Thanks again for putting this together for us, Bill!
I apologize for coming-in so late; As usual I got lost on my way through the Berkeley hills - this time more than ever before...
Then I got all worried about the coolant loss I've had on this relatively short drive. Thank you Andre and Greg for helping me look after that! (I'm still losing some, but made it home without problems.)
After we were done dealing with my car, I enjoyed some cold hamburger, and - big surprise - won some oil filters in the raffle... In my 10 years of 928-ownership, I have probably bought no more than one or two oil filters - the rest I won at 928 related events.
Thanks to everybody who came to my car and checked out the latest goodies by Hooked On Cars.
And again, thanks to Bill for putting this together, and to everybody who helped with registration, grill and other tasks to make this happen.
Also, thanks to the Stockton Sharks Society for the cool T--Shirt!!!

I got there late because the berkeley and oakland hills are evil to navigate. But it was cool to see so many 928s, and the 2 951s. I think the 951 guys were the only ones to notice my 968...
My dad brought his 993 instead of his 928...
I felt a bit timid so I didn't talk to many people. I saw Dave whom I met at a 944 run last year, and I finally got to meet Nicole (thanks for the 924/944/968 book!).

WOW!!! Looks like you had a blast. I wish I could have made it. My wife and i were headed to a birthing class in Hayward when a shark passed us and I mentioned she must be going to "Sharks in the Park".

I sure did! As a matter of fact, a couple of your shots would make really great screen savers (esp the winding road). Any chance of getting you to email me a hi-res version of them?

Arash, I don't remember seeing you... speak up next time!
Bill, thanks for the pointer -- I thought the rightmost car that you circled was just part of the tree.
So that's:
9 - Cars in the photo
2 - Cars in the foreground
8 - Cars that are easy to see
Great 9-2-8 pic!

I think he tried to get me going before he moved on to Andre - I was walking down the row the opposite direction of him and he mentioned "its a shame they aren't ferraris."
But yeah, convo went something like as follows:
fanboy: "Its a shame these aren't ferraris, because porsches are just cheaper cars than ferraris"
Andre: "Yeah, let me know when you get one"
fanboy: i'm forgetting his first response, but at this point he starts walking off
Andre: "You really shouldn't start drinking this early in the day"
fanboy: "no man, I'm straight edge! (pops his collar) No drinks or drugs in eight years." proceeds to tell Andre he needs to loose some weight
I'm forgetting the rest of Andre's responses, but the fanboy started to go on about how he had been to all 50 states and asking what Andre has done, and then bragging that his target-bought business suit was all paid for (he might have been saying his trip to all the states were payed for, but he was popping his collar again so we weren't sure).
A couple hours later I thought that saying something to the extent of "congrats, what do you do, suck off <insert presidential canidate here> for a job?" in response to his 50 states comment. Such is the way with all good comebacks... (and probably wouldn't have been good to use around the few families/old 928 owners)
All these pictures make me wish I had stuck around for the drive. When did everyone end up heading out for that?
For the record, all us half-928 people were highly impressed at the number of people that showed up. We rarely get more than 10 on any of our events.

Arash - fwiw, my wife and I spent a noticeable amount of time checking out your 968 and the 944/928 morphage. She had never seen one. Nice car.
Bill - Huge thank you again for a very nice gathering and FUN run... Michelle was actually making "Wooohooo's" through the last sweeper sections while we were at "spirited" pace
And thank you for doing the photo work again George !!

Looks like you guys had the awesome weather. I'll make it to this event one of these days. Good going as always Bill, you are a pinnicle figure in the NORCAL region and no one would see it as such a fine region, if you weren't part of it!
Can someone explain the Frankenstein Widebod? Got any side shots of it? Whats the story behind it and how did it come to look...uhm..like that?
