Roger,

It says 'kit"

Are there more hoses then just the "u" at the rear of the fuel rails?

20 year old OEM hose thats went through 1000's of heat cycles versus new EFI hose with new EFI clamps that are not used by Porsche.

The 'U' hose in particular is no longer available.

As well as the 'U' hose there's the return hose from the regulator to the fuel tank at the rear of the engine.

At the front is the 'straight' piece between the rails and the 'input' fuel line from the tank/pump to the front diaphram.

Harvey,
This is EFI hose to SAE 30R9 pressure tested to a working pressure of 125 psi and a burst pressure of 900 psi. Made by Weatherhead part of the EATON corperation. The specification was penned by the SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers) for this EXACT application
What more do you need?
The fittings are the same as already fitted to your car ENHANCED further with a SS EFI clamp. The hose is many times better in construction and the materials also. Double the protection you have at the moment.
We are talking about hoses that are used on every modern car out there - I think that is proof enough.

It has to be a million times better than what is on your car at the moment.
I will not wait until my cars burst into flames.
Each to there own.

I now have 300kms on my car since the fuel line changes...............no worries at all, don't no what else to say.

If you want to stay with the 20yr old OEM then thats your risky biz.

Had a look today (already replaced worn "straight" hose), but still not sure which ones to replace. Does the kit come with instructions. Thanks.

Rog,

Do you have a replacement for the line that is attached to the pass side fuel rail that makes a "u" of its own and which is i think the fuel inlet line from the chassis to the engine?
