Don,
If I sent you a cheque you would have problems cashing it unless you had a UK bank account.
How about Beer as in adult beverage.?

Of course, you also replaced those eight little two-inchers from the rails to the injectors did you? When I replace mine the hoses at the back of the engine weren't too bad but the injector hoses all crumbled upon touch.

Hey Roger!

Don't forget to anounce it on the board when you get around to put a kit for the pre-85's together...I am in no rush, but eventually will need them ;-)

"Is the hose labled #6 also included in the kit?"
Yes, It is the only Porsche one that is.

"Are there no kits for 84 vintages and earlier?"
Yes there will be - give me a couple of days to sort out what I need.
I have a 78, 80, 82 and 84 so I will start looking.

Roger,
Are your replacement fuel hoses all rubber or a polamide/rubber combo or other?
Also, are they resistant to ozone and ethanol/methanol fuels? Thanks.

I was just looking around ebay and found all kinds of combos: fluroelastomer wrapped with polyester and CSM; nitrile wrapped in fibre and hypalon; nitrile wrapped in polyester with a nitrile/PVC blend cover, etc.

This stuff also looks interesting:

Interesting. Would there be a potential problem with sizing? That is, inside diameter metric vs. inches?

My hoses are EFI rubber hoses - more detail on the other thread.

No problem on the size as the imperial size is only a few thou different to the metric.
