I thought I saw this somewhere, but now can't find it. I can find production numbers for 87 - 91, but not individual years. Is this number even available? I would have bet money I saw it somewhere.

i think US sales for 1990 (which are fewer then total production numbers) are 620 cars. Total production is listed 3196 per "porsche Panorama July 1997"

Are you looking for number of cars sold during calendar year 1990 or actual number of '90 L VIN cars made? These are two totally different things. As discussed before in here, Andrew's number are how many were sold during each calendar year (early years can't be even remotely right in that list by the way). Looking for sales figures alone for one single year do not tell precisely how many actual cars were made as some could have been sold much later than when they were made. Only correct number is list of VIN's and MY count based on those. There were three different sets of '90 L MY VIN's. Single set for ROW and two different sets for USA and Canada.

Two 90xx cars were done without airbags and sold in Canada. I believe 455 to be correct total for US and Canadian cars with airbags as 0061 and 0062 do not have data in Carfax.
