Default X pipe vs Y pipe differences?

Just curious as to the differences between X pipe with rmb vs Y pipe. I have B&B Triflow Y pipe with cats, and was wondering how this compares to other X pipe systems. P.S. it sounds GRRRRRRREAT!!

I am no expert on the HP numbers but I would think the X pipe would yield more HP.
Between 25 to 30 at the rear wheels for the X pipe.

IIRC, Dave Lomas said the Motorsport Y increases HP more than their X.

Louie did some testing a while back..between his X and I think Tom Cloutiers Y pipe....ended up close enough that the only real difference would be weight of the system for those so inclined...

Here is a photo of mine. It connects the MSDS headers on my '83 Euro S to a 3" system made by Tom C. I love how it sounds.
