Actually, can be done at 8500+ rpm. Easier than 600 RWHP at 6500 - 7000 rpm.

Just cant afford the one off parts!! Custom cams, significant head mods, valves, intake, rods, pistons, dry sump, ECU's, block mods, etc.

Hi John,
Yes, that's where I spray in the Dinitrogen tetroxide.

I wish.

The observed gain isn't a lot, being about 3.8%.

It's actually closer to this, but more pure.

Dinitrogen tetroxide..is "one of the most important rocket propellants ever developed" from the wiki...

and somehow Louie using rocket propellant to make more power doesn't surprise me in the least

What else do you have up your sleeve Professor Ott ??? ...

Hydrazine side thrusters at the front to help with turn in.

Default Imaginary dyno graph bragging post

Here's my dyno graph. This was produced in a simulation dream world only. Of course, with a lot of help from people of this forum.

I am attempting to simulate a stock S4 with the flappy open. That's the lower power graph or "current." Then, I am trying to compare that to a stock S4 with the flappy open but with S3 cams installed. I am seeing 9% peak power increase, which I think is a lot.

Went to the dyno last weekend. Got a nice tune on the car.

It did not make the HP I was expecting. Not sure if it was the dyno or something else. The other car that was there was also down on power (compared to other dyno's it had been run on).

It's still a very fast car, however.

Gotta love that flat torque curve I would lean out the AFR just a little. I shoot for ~13.0:1 below 2500RPM and ~12.5:1 above that. Did you log knocks for that run? If yes, how many?

Yeah, that Tq curve is pretty nice, if I do say so myself.

I forget the total number of knocks, but most were at transition (2500 RPM) and then some at around 5000 RPM (<15) but they were random. I might try pulling a little more timing out around that spot, but we felt confident that it was "safe enough."

I don't have it here at work, but I did datalog the runs with my Innovate stuff and the AFR was a bit leaner on my stuff than his. We thought it was mostly due to mine being in the X-pipe and his being in the tailpipe. Anyway, we left the fuel where it was because we felt it was safe and leaning it out a bit was not going to give us any additional power.
